Terms of Service - Lights Out

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lights Out mobile application ("the App"), provided by ArcadeGeek LTD ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

About the App

Lights Out is a puzzle game featuring daily challenges, statistics tracking, and optional in-app purchases. The App is distributed via the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android.

Eligibility

The App is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Licence to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or related infrastructure.
Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App or to manipulate leaderboards.
Interfere with the operation of the App or with other users' experience.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds; refund requests must be made through the relevant platform.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Google AdMob, Apple Game Center (iOS), and Google Play Games Services (Android). Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, sounds, and content, is owned by ArcadeGeek LTD and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use ArcadeGeek LTD trademarks, logos, or trade names.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArcadeGeek LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £10, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
